This is a cutting-edge professional photography course written and directed by some of the best working photographers in their field. The aim of the course is to provide you with the knowledge and skills required for a career as a professional photographer or as a keen hobbyist. This is an up-to-date and comprehensive course covering every aspect of photography.

The Professional Photography Course is delivered online or in person and consists of modules and assignments. The average time required to complete the course is a minimum of 7 days - 24 weeks, depending on the selection of course. However, we provide students with 12 months. Extensions can be purchased if extra time is required. During this time, you will be educated in all aspects of photography by Methuselah T. Myambo, one of the freelance photographers around Cape Town, South Africa. His vast wealth of accumulated knowledge is provided to you, along with ways to apply this knowledge to the areas of photography that most interest you.

All the learning is done online or physically, in that when you enroll, you receive a username and password that enable you to log onto our secure student site. From there, you can download your first module, which you could liken to your textbook as it contains all the information you will need to complete assignment one. Each module varies in length and is full of detailed technical information delivered in a friendly, conversational manner that is easy to understand. The concepts are further explained by way of diagrams, images, and examples.

Once you have completed your assignment (some are just theoretical, but the majority of assignments combine both theory and fun practical tasks), you upload it onto our site for your tutor to mark. The tutors will give you a grade (out of 10) and a comprehensive evaluation of your work and ideas, and they will help nurture and improve your skills each step of the way.

The Photography Course is provided online.

We release new content regularly, aiming to produce one new class and at least two live shows every month.

🗣 Can I download MTM Academy videos?
You are not entitled to download, copy, distribute or share any MTM Academy video content. Your agreement with us is for streaming access only.
